OTP programs not only teach basketball skills but Jack and his team of coaches help young athletes learn the importance of contributing as a member of a community. From teams, camps, and academy programs to individual coaching sessions, young athletes are expected to encourage and affirm every member of the program - not just the exceptional players.
In fact, OTP athletes and their parents agree to abide by the OTP Code of Conduct which gives athletes a foundation for good sportsmanship.
Founder, Jack Shaughnessy, believes that every young athlete should have the opportunity to learn and grow. But his values extend beyond the basketball court. Developing an athlete’s character is just as important as developing their skills.

Not all young athletes have the financial means to participate in OTP programs and, while OTP strives to help financially-challenged families, we cannot accommodate all of the talented athletes who could be a part of our programs.
